The Nordic Walking Park in Brenzone, the first bilingual park on Lake Garda, opened in 2014 and consists of 5 circuits with lengths varying from 3.5 to 18 km. The hotel provides you with the map of the park, as well as with poles if needed.
The routes go through the scattered villages of Brenzone, and we strongly suggest to take some stops to discover them. Churches, relics and beautiful landscape witness of the rich past and the culture of the region.

The routes of the Nordic Walking Park can also be discovered by bike.
Since 2016, the Nordic Walking Park has been extended to Malcesine and now includes another 70 km of routes leading north and south.
In the surrounding hills you will find easy and short trails, suitable for outdoor walks, far away from the hustle and bustle of the beaches and towns. In the higher altitudes, on the other hand, you will find longer and more difficult hiking trails with a typical alpine character.
We can't tell you the exact number of trails and their lengths in kilometers, but we are sure that in Brenzone you will find exactly the trails you are looking for: whether you are looking for simple peace in nature or you want to work out to find a healthy fatigue and hence some peace.

You will fall in love with Monte Baldo not only for its famous and breathtaking views. Monte Baldo is also known among naturalists as "Hortus Europae" – garden of Europe, because of its rich botanic heritage. If you really want to experience Monte Baldo, you need to take the time to stop : take pictures of the flowers, visit the typical "malghe" (shepherds' huts) and learn about their history, or spend a night with friends in the G.Barana hut on the top of Cima Telegrafo.
Do not underestimate Monte Baldo and follow all the rules for safe mountain hiking. Get well informed about the route and choose one that suits your level. Make a note of where you are headed, find out about the weather before setting out and choose suitable footwear and clothing. Make sur you have warm, windproof clothing, plenty of water, energy bars, a topographic map, a first aid kit, sunscreen and sunglasses in your backpack. Stay on the marked trails during the hike, limit the use of your cell phone and please take your trash home. Remember that the mountain and its great natural habitat must always be respected, but also protected. Loving the mountains means discovering them respectfully and consciously.

Cross-country, all-mountain or enduro, in Brenzone there are routes to suit your tastes, from easy rides along the lake to difficult climbs with great differences in altitude and technical descents.
For a calm and safe ride with your little ones, we suggest the 17-kilometer bike path along the beach that connects Brenzone with Malcesine.
Brenzone is famous for the steep climb called Punta Veleno. Did you know that the climb was excluded from the Giro d'Italia because it was considered technically too difficult? Without a doubt : a difference of thousand meters of altitude on only ten kilometers; from kilometer two to kilometer eight, the climb has an average gradient of 14.6% with peaks of up to 20%. Quite a challenge !

The Malcesine Monte Baldo cable car is located in Malcesine on Lake Garda. It is open ten months a year and consists of three stations (valley, middle and top station). The cable car of Malcesine is the first one in the world with rotating cabins ! During the ride you can admire the 360° breathtaking panorama ! Near the top station there are short hiking trails with several huts where to stop for a break. You will also be at the starting point of a series of hikes, some of which are quite difficult.

As of August 14, 2022, the basketlift and chairlift between Prada and Costabella are open.
The basket lift is located on the first section from Prada to the former Mondini/Turri hut, which is still closed. The double chairlift is located on the second section from the former Mondini/Turri hut to Costabella near the Fiori del Baldo hut.

From the top station it is a short walk to the Rifugio Chierego hut, which you can easily spot from the chairlift. From here it takes about 1.5 hours to walk to our friend's Alessandro’s Rifugio Telegrafo hut, just follow path 658 and walk along the Camino Pass.

In Cassone, about 1 km from the hotel, you will find 5 terraced tennis courts overlooking the lake, of which 4 are clay courts and 1 synthetic. Alternatively, less than 10 minutes from the hotel, you will find a concrete court at Hotel Du Lac. For reservations, please contact the reception.
In Brenzone, at the Acquafresca sports center, 700 meters from the hotel, you will find a beach volleyball court and a small football field with artificial grass.
Thanks to its constant winds, Lake Garda is known all over the world for sailing, wind- and kitesurfing, as well as the speciality foilsurfing.
The two main winds on Lake Garda are the Pelèr and the Ora. On a normal day, the Pelèr blows from north to south early in the morning and gives the change to the Ora, which blows from south to north, in the late morning. The Pelèr is a strong wind that spreads well and increases in intensity as it moves south. The Ora, on the other hand, is a regular wind of medium strength in Brenzone, which becomes stronger towards the north.

In Brenzone sul Garda there are many kitesurfing schools that not only offer rental services, courses for basic and advances levels, but also a transfer to where the wind is best. The transfer consists in a crossing by boat, the fastest way to enjoy kitesurfing, accompanied by an expert who will bring you back to shore at the end of your trip.
The schools are located near the hotel, very close and easy to reach is the sport center Acquafresca, only 700 meters from the hotel, along the lake shore going to the north.

The best conditions to learn windsurfing are in the morning, when the Peler decreases, or in the afternoon, when the Ora rises. In Brenzone you can start from any beach and there is absolutely no lack of schools.
Worth mentioning is the Gardasurf Center in Castelletto. The center rents equipment and organizes windsurfing, sailing and stand-up paddle courses with German-speaking staff.
If you like particularly strong winds, the best place for windsurfing in Brenzone is the beach of Assenza, located in front of the island of Trimelone, 1.5 km from the hotel. On particularly windy mornings, or after a strong thunderstorm, this beach has a tense but less gusty wind than Malcesine.

Apart from the fantastic wind conditions on Lake Garda, sailing is part of our tradition and culture here. All schools, clubs and rentals can be reached directly from the hotel, on foot or by bike, along the lake promenade and the bike path.
During your Lake Garda vacation you should try canoeing at least once, you just need to know ho to swim and have some balance. Stand-up paddle and canoe are two autonomous crossover sports, good for your shape and anything but boring, allowing you to explore the shores, harbors and hidden corners of the villages of Brenzone overlooking the lake from a very suggestive perspective, accessible only by water!

For beginners, it is best to leave in the late morning, as soon as the winds change, or towards evening, when the Ora from the south decreases.

A system consists of an open two passenger basket lift as well as a single-seater chairlift that rise for over 3 kilometers up to 1,800 meters, where you will enjoy a breathtaking view of Lake Garda and Monte Baldo!
